About the Foundation

The Worth Parks Foundation was formed in 2019. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity.

The Foundation solicits support for the parks in Worth through volunteerism, gifts and grants and planned giving opportunities. A Board of Directors consisting of community members acts to improve the quality of life for people utilizing the park system.

Worth Parks Foundation Mission

The Worth Parks Foundation provides opportunities for the preservation of open space and the development of parks and recreational resources for residents and families of Worth.

The Foundation seeks support for all park and recreation efforts to include but are not limited to:
•    Scholarships for Youth and Families
•    Park Improvements/Development
•    Parkland Acquisition
•    Matching Grant Support
•    Program and Special Event Support
•    Equipment Needs
