The Worth Park District Board of Commissioners is a 5-member board elected to represent the community’s best interest. The responsibility of the Board is to set policy and to follow the mission, vision and core values to guide the Park District. Board members serve a six-year term and receive no compensation for the time they give. The Board members come from a variety of backgrounds but share one common trait: a commitment to serving the park and recreation needs of the community.
 
Park District Board Meetings are held monthly on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Terrace Centre, 11500 S. Beloit, Worth. The Committee of the Whole Meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and the Regular Meeting at 7:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.
